So many stories to tell, and if you only followed his footsteps and legacy around the city you’d be here for months. Ben was a runaway from Boston at the age of 17 and arrived after a difficult journey in 1723 at the age of 17, entering Philadelphia at the foot of Market Street. While you are doing your Philadelphia sightseeing, look for his stone-carved head at the top of the arch under City Hall that looks down Market Street towards his port of entry!
